These days MS new born, Crap… err Windows 7, is a constant in my life… a while ago I was talking to a good friend of mine, a Unix guy to the bones, pointed me to a site born from the supporter of FSF (Free Software Foundation) that you can find here,

Probably most of you already know about the site and the initiative anyhow this is a community effort to make the industry understand what are the dark sides of Microsoft policy. I, even being and ex Microsoft Architect, am a trainer before anything else and never agreed with Microsoft policies… this blog, my posts in the various forums where I write are a witness of my effort to make knowledge free to anyone not to only those who can afford it.

In my life I’ve trashed informations, long before internet became what it is now, paid for them and this is why I thought to share this share the site’s address with you. Even if you’re not an IT geek, but probably if you’re reading this and my blog chances are that you actually are already in the club, you and your firends/family/whatever can benefit from reading what’s written in the site at least to understand what you are using and how limiting it is… 

I’ve added a widget to the site to show my support and already sent some money that will be used to send 500 fortune companies letters that explain the FSF motivations.

Hope you’ll find it useful, remember "…in a world without walls and fences who needs windows and gates?…"
