RHCE preparation tools
Wow finally it’s over! This infernal week is over, I can now fully concentrate on my upcoming BCMSN exam (next Friday for the records). This afternoon I had a meeting with our HR manager and he agreed to authorize my RHCE training! This is indeed great news for me, I usually prefer to self-study but I think I’ll benefit from official Red Hat training for a beast exam like RHCE.
Talking about RHCE while I was searching for some useful documents for the RHCE exam I’ve come across wonderful site (well actually a wiki) maintained by a veteran of the industry who has been studying for the RHCE himself.
The guide is literally full of useful links, tips and how-to you can even find to download VMware images for the study environment (for the lazy ones;))!
Last but not least you’ll even find a few sample scripts which will break your Linux installation for you to fix it, isn’t this great?
What else to add? Happy system fixing :)
Lethe.

I’ve been thinking of Preparing for the RHCE myself thanks for showing me the easiest way to start the preparation ;P
Eheheh Hi Whacky I’m glad you’ve found the link useful :) I myself I’m starting the preparation, as I have some spare time, I was even thinking to organize a study group to share knowledge and tools so if interested just let me know :)
Thanks for coming, Lethe.
yeah definitely i’m thinking in the same line..
there is been talk of this kind in the sadikhov..
why dont we start with it right away ??
rather than waiting for others ..
you can add me to your IM client..
lets have a chat and we can discuss about it
That’s great I totally agree, I’m going home right now but feel free to send me your contact via the contact form, when home tonight I’ll write a little new about this as well :D
Cheer Lethe.
*Edit* Sent you an email with all the details.
that link is awesome. I want as much break/fix practice as I can get before the exam. I do need to actually read Jang’s book first though
